Integrating Environmental, Social, and Economic Dimensions to Monitor Sustainability in the G20 Countries

Several regions have struggled to define and implement strategic priorities ensure resource supply security environmental, economic, social sustainability. The circular economy is gaining more importance as one of the forms transition towards a sustainable future that integrates, in balanced way, economic performance, inclusion, environmental resilience, for benefit current generations. In light challenges solving or avoiding problems, G20 bloc created proposals action plans support model while at same time fostering discussions on implementation 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development. Therefore, main objective this study monitor compare performance 19 countries (the 20th member European Union) from 2000 2020 assess their progress toward sustainability supported by CE principles. To achieve objective, five sectors was used goal programming multicriteria analysis tool generating synthetic indicator assist decision making. results showed with best overall (environmental, social) were Canada (which also occupied position 2000), Australia, Italy, United Kingdom, States, Argentina, South Africa, India, Indonesia, China lower can serve reference making stakeholders designing policies incentives encourage adoption boost development without compromising welfare environment.
